Auto Food Fight Devlog #7 - Basic Combat Done

So the combat is coming along nicely. I figured adding a start fight button would be good for players. That way you can see what each food does and trying to predict what will happen!

Foods finally attack each other now. Took a while to get this going. Had some odd behavior with Unity on this. When I initially got fighting in, the combat went by lightning fast and I couldn't even see it happening. I had to mess around with coroutines and small pauses between actions, at least until there are proper animations.

I worked on battle results after that. Meaning, winning and losing battles. This way the health finally represents something. For the sake of testing, losing makes you loses 3 hearts. It also returns the player to the store after battle has concluded. It loads the meal and the frozen foods/condiments from before. 

Up next is a bit of a change in priority. I've been focusing so much on the programming side that I've neglected the visuals. In the hopes of at least giving a better impression of the vibe the game is supposed to give. Trying to go for a silly / cutesy look. I've gotten a bunch of help from friends so I'm looking forward to sharing some of that next time. Also writing up the initial ideas for the food pack. From starting stats to effects they'll have.
